Chicken & Quinoa Bowl

Hi everyone!

This is a super easy dinner that we make so often because of how simple and easy it is!  Dinner doesn’t have to be complicated to be super tasty, sometimes simple is best!  It is especially great for a busy lifestyle as well, after our afternoon round of golf, we want something nutritious and quick to eat.  Th best thing about this post golf game dinner is that it is so easy to customize and change up, all you have to do is change the seasoning on the chicken breast or change what kind of veggies you have with it!

We went for a butter chicken spice on the chicken breast and smoked them on our Trager Smoker (the Trager is unreal and we cook literally everything on it!) and we went with some green beans and sautéed onions and shiitake mushrooms.  Shiitake mushrooms are our favourite because they have this amazing umami flavour and definitely stand out compared to the regular button mushroom.  We like to steam or boil our green beans, it makes them super tender but keeps the integrity of the beans in tact and it is a super easy and quick way to prepare them!

Then all you need to do is cook your quinoa according the the instructions on the packaging, throw all your other ingredients into your bowl and voila!  You have a super easy and nutritious meal to replenish your body after a long round of golf!  It is so important to replenish your body with clean, simple ingredients so that you are fresh for your next round of golf!
