LET’S TALK SPF FOR THE FACE! BEST SPF FOR OUT ON THE GOLF COURSE!

As you know it is extremely important to protect your skin with sunscreen especially if you play golf like we do on a daily basis and it is crucial that you take the time to reapply your sunscreen throughout the day!

I have tried SO MANY different brands, formulas, and strengths of sunscreen and I have finally narrowed it down to my top three favourite for the face!  It is important that when looking for a face sunscreen that you buy one that is non-comedogenic which means that they do not contain any pore clogging ingredients that will irritate your skin.  I use https://acneclinicnyc.com/pore-clogging-ingredients/ to check the ingredients before I but anything that goes onto my face.  I have acne prone skin and very fair skin so it has been hard to find the right product for me.  Keep in mind that what works for me might not work for you so do your research and find what is best for you; I am just giving you my suggestions.

In the morning I apply the “Murad City Skin Age Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50| PA++++” as my base layer of sunscreen that has a little natural tint to it which helps even out my skin tone and then I use the “Kate Somerville SPF 50 UncompliKated SPF Soft Focus Makeup Setting Spray”.  The spray on sunscreen makes reapplying super easy and mess free especially when you are out on the golf course because it is THE WORST FEELING to get your hands all greasy with sunscreen and then trying to swing the club for your next shot.

Mu uses the “KIEHK’S Super Fluid UV Defense SPF 50” because yes, men need to wear sunscreen too!!  I know you might not like the fuss of applying sunscreen and then having to wash your face at the end of the day but IT IS SO IMPORTANT that you take care of your skin!!  It is an extra 2 mins in the morning and maybe an extra 5 mins at night to take care of yourself.  YOU CAN DO IT!

I hope these suggestions have help guide you in the right direction!

Cheers,

Savannah
